Genetco Power is the new power division of Genetco, established to meet the region's — and the world's — growing demand for reliable, modern power solutions. It is built on Genetco's 55 years of Omani engineering, distribution and service heritage, and on the strength of Genetco itself, a partnership between Fairtrade LLC and Towell LLC. Genetco Power extends that foundation across the power value chain — generation and storage, transmission and distribution, and metering and supply — backed by a global network of leading equipment and technology partners.

Our model is relationship-driven. Rather than acting as a traditional EPC contractor, we serve as the technical lead and trusted single point of accountability for our clients — structuring partnerships, managing programmes, and supplying equipment through authorized agency agreements.

Genetco Power LLC is registered in Oman as a standalone legal entity operating under the Genetco (Oman) group, itself part of the Towell Group. The company was established to capture high-value, technically differentiated opportunities across the power sector — spanning generation, transmission, distribution, renewable operations and maintenance, and supply and metering.

We operate as a capital-light technical and commercial integrator, not a construction contractor. Genetco Power builds the relationships, engineering capability, and equipment supply agreements needed to bring the right partners together and deliver for our clients as a single, accountable point of contact.

Generation

We support commercial and industrial generation projects, independent power producer roles on utility tenders, round-the-clock solar-plus-storage projects, and generation-linked battery storage — delivered with partners including leading global BESS manufacturers.

Transmission

We provide technical programme management and equipment supply for gas-insulated switchgear substations, transmission-linked battery storage, protection systems, voltage stability (STATCOM) solutions, and control room and SCADA upgrades.

Distribution

We target network rehabilitation, loss-reduction programmes, distribution automation, and long-term O&M contracts — addressing the segment closest to the end consumer and most critical to reducing revenue leakage.

Renewable Energy & BESS O&M

A dedicated service line covering preventive and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, predictive maintenance, solar PV O&M, and specialised workforce training for utility-scale battery storage and renewable assets.

Supply & Metering

We support smart metering programmes including meter supply, data management systems, and communications infrastructure — with metering-as-a-service offered as a long-term, high-margin recurring revenue model.
